The book of Proverbs describes godly wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing. It also warns of the folly of worldly wisdom as a path that leads to the grave. Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. How often do we call to mind the wisdom found in the sayings of Proverbs to shed light on the path before us? How relevant do we even believe these ancient words are to our modern world?
In The Way of Wisdom study, Bible teachers Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson, and Courtney Doctor invite you to place your feet firmly on the path of life revealed in the book of Proverbs. As you consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like your words, work, friendships, marriages, parenting, neighborliness, money management, leadership influence, and more, you’ll discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.
The Bible speaks of angels often. They were present in the garden of Eden, and throughout the story of the Bible they appear to people with messages, encouragement, and tangible help. Angels ministered to Jesus after His temptation and before His crucifixion, and they shared the good news of His resurrection. Despite their frequent appearance in God’s Word, our impression of angels is more often shaped by the myths and misconceptions that have developed over the centuries.
In this 8-session Bible study, join Melissa Spoelstra as she traverses the terrain of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels—who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Angels is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth.
You Believe in God. You Follow Jesus. But Does the Holy Spirit Still Feel Like a Mystery?
If you've ever wondered why everyone else seems to have powerful Holy Spirit stories . . . but you just feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure--you're not alone.
The God You Need to Know reveals that God is neither distant nor confusing, inviting you instead to experience the real, everyday presence of the Holy Spirit who guides, empowers, and walks with you daily.
Bestselling author Margaret Feinberg gently walks you through Scripture--from Genesis to Pentecost--to reveal the Spirit's constant, powerful presence across history . . . and in your everyday life. This isn't complicated theology--it's a fresh, honest way to reconnect with the Spirit many believers quietly wonder about but rarely talk about.
Inside you'll discover:
· How to recognize those quiet nudges or spiritual promptings without second-guessing yourself
· The hidden thread of the Spirit's work woven all through the Old Testament (yes, long before Pentecost)
· Simple, tangible practices to help you invite the Spirit into your everyday moments (without the pressure or weirdness)
· What it looks like to move from believing in God . . . to experiencing his living presence for yourself
You don't have to feel left out of the Spirit-led life anymore. You don't have to wonder if you're "missing it" or waiting for some dramatic moment. The Holy Spirit has been pursuing you all along--and it's time to experience the vibrant, Spirit-connected faith you've always longed for.
The God You Need to Know is for you if:
· You love Jesus, but your faith feels dry or disconnected lately
· You're curious (but cautious) about the Holy Spirit and want a grounded, approachable way to explore
· You want practical tools, not just more head knowledge
· You've ever thought, "Why does this feel so real for others . . . but distant for me?"
You were never meant to follow God alone. The Spirit is already closer than you think.
