Our Mission
The Women’s Mentoring Ministry of Spring Branch Community Church is a Christian discipleship ministry designed to partner women of faith with women who desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to build the local and global church.
Biblical Basis
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus spoke his last words to his disciples, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV) Mentoring is an opportunity for discipleship. A spiritually mature woman in Christ (mentor) will teach and model how to live a godly faith-filled life to a spiritually younger woman (mentee) or two women (mentees). Formats may vary with each relationship, but Christ and the Bible remain at the center with spiritual maturity and reproduction, the goal.
